Privacy notice
This notice covers the Joseon.fun waitlist at joseon.fun. It describes what we collect when you join, why, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
- Email address. The one you enter to join.
- Wallet address. The wallet you connect and sign with. We check the signature to confirm you control the wallet, then discard it. We do not store signatures.
- Badges. Which badges a wallet holds (Early Access, Contributor) and when each was granted.
- Contributor submissions. The link to any post you submit, and which of the X buttons (follow, like, repost, reply) you clicked on this page. We do not connect to your X account or read it.
- A hashed network identifier. A one-way, salted hash of your IP address, kept with your sign-up to limit repeated sign-ups from one network. We do not store the IP address itself.
- Referrals. Each sign-up gets a referral code. If you join through someone's link, we record their code with your sign-up and count it toward their referrals. Referral counts and ranks are shown only to the person they belong to.
We do not ask for your name, phone number or ID. We use no advertising or analytics scripts and set no cookies. Your browser keeps your sign-up status and theme choice in its own local storage, which never leaves your device.
Why we use it
- To email you when early access opens.
- To grant badges to your wallet and review Contributor submissions.
- To prevent abuse, such as mass sign-ups.
What is public
Badges are public. Anyone can look up which badges a wallet address holds, so profiles and the app can show them. Your email address is never public and is never shown next to your wallet.
Who processes it
The waitlist runs on Cloudflare (hosting and database). Clicking an X button opens x.com, where X's own privacy policy applies. We do not sell or rent your information.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist data until the waitlist and badge program end, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Badges may carry over to the Joseon.fun app when it launches.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your waitlist data, email contact@joseon.fun from the address you signed up with and include your wallet address. Deleting your entry also removes your badges.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date above changes with it.
